Guest Posts Rock, and You Should Consider Submitting One

Guest posts are magical, and if you check out the ones that I have already posted on this blog under “Other Voices,” you might understand why.

Never Stationary is just my tiny slice of the huge internet pie; the gathering of people sharing their opinions is replicated constantly, and all over this terrain.

New blogs can emerge because someone wrote for another blog and decided that they wanted their own slice of pie.

Guest posting has forged friendships (based on a true story). That’s how I met one of the best people ever…you know who you are.

But it doesn’t have to forge friendships, you know? You could live in Paris and send something in; we don’t have to know each other. This can be nothing more than a one-time deal; it’s whatever you make it.

Guest posting is the perfect way to test the blogging waters if you don’t want to start and abandon another one-time project like we all have at one point or another.

Upon talking to people, I’ve found out that some have been holding back their words, putting off the desire to share a story; this is me telling you to stop putting it off, to start finding your voice, to start grasping your opinion.

The geeks of the interwebs, hungry for worldly thoughts, could always use some of your wise words and wisdom.

And I’m not the only young adult blogging. Even if some of these blogs aren’t updated very frequently, that’s okay.

Once someone starts writing, they never stop, and even if they desert a particular blog, it’s like an iguana shedding its skin. Another will grow back; they might acquire another piece of the internet to share their ideas.

• Afro Girl Talks, a blog updated pretty much daily, about girl power and other relevant topics

• 32 Oz. of Goodness, a congregation of beautiful pictures, food recipes, and revelations about young adult life

– 100 Ways to Write, a site featuring exhilarating commentary about high school society and more

• Memories on a Page, a blog similar to mine with an intriguing backstory behind the name and posts just as intriguing about an adolescent’s everyday experiences
