Stick out your tongue;
you’ve got a bad case of growing up.
The doctor said it wouldn’t be lethal,
but it’d be chronic.
Your childhood will be no more,

good! And so true – now that I’m a mother, and look back on my own youth, I do focus on the happy memories. I hope my kids do as well once they’re pedantic grownups, and won’t remember as much my yelling and nagging.
