I started a podcast!
This podcast is inspired by the following text post I saw on Instagram a few weeks ago:
“You’re not behind in life. There’s no timetable that we all must follow. It’s made up. 7 billion people can’t do everything in the same order. What’s early? What’s late? Compared to who? Don’t beat yourself up for where you are. It’s YOUR schedule and everything is right on time.” Continue reading
This Kid I Know: Kathy
We’ve come so far from me attending your birthday party freshman year at that hibachi dinner where I didn’t know anyone well. Continue reading

This Kid I Know: Christina (Year 2)
Chris, if you were with me right now, you’d look out of my bedroom window and say something like, “Want to go on a walk? It’s really nice outside.”
And by nice, you’d mean, there’s a gentle breeze and creepy abandoned buildings and dark alleyways to explore. Continue reading

New Hair
Over the past year, I dyed my hair a bunch of different colors. By the time I came home for the summer, it was a medium-length cut with light brown ombré ends.
One night I decided to cut my own hair, so I grabbed a pair of scissors and cut off 4-5 inches. My mom also had a pair of thinning scissors, so I used those too. Continue reading
This Kid I Know: Pedro
No one can spice up the mundane greeting “Hey!” like Pedro can.
This guy makes it sound so sincere that you want to say hey back, sit down and talk about your day with him. But instead, this guy will probably ride away on his flashy gold penny board, and you’ll spend the rest of your days wondering what a cool guy like Pedro does in his free time.
At least, that’s what I do. Continue reading

Stop Everything And Listen To Ta-ku’s HYPETRAK Mix ‘Drive Slow, Homie’
In this Ta-ku mix, there isn’t much remixing at all, just transitions between different pieces. But that’s what I love about it. It doesn’t just sound like one continuous song. It sounds like Ta-ku made you a mixtape for your drive home from work.

Never Stationary’s Mission Statement

Source: bollykecks.tumblr.com
With no concrete theme (an intentional decision), Never Stationary is the culmination of my writing efforts. At 18 years old, my life is looking a lot like me when I have a lot of papers spread out on a tiny table in a coffee shop. Cluttered, with lots of coffee stains and I can’t find my pen!
Happy Anniversary!
This website has come a long way. I’m grateful for every bit of encouragement as well as criticism I’ve received, as it has made me a better writer and person.
I didn’t see myself keeping this up for more than a few months, but at this point in my life, I have no intentions to stop. Still going strong! Continue reading
